16 Mounthooly Street: Location
16 Mounthooly Street is in the historic lanes area of the capital (Lerwick), a quiet location with no passing traffic noise. Free parking is at the rear of the house in Rechabite Place car park. The Tourist Centre is at the bottom of the street where you can book boat trips or coach trips to all areas. Lerwick’s two supermarkets are not far from the house.
It is around 100 yards from the town centre, where you can browse through the shops, pass the time looking at the many vessels in our beautiful harbour or take time out to relax in the many restaurants and bars.
Live traditional music can be heard in the Lounge Bar near the bottom of Mounthooly Street after 8pm every Wednesday evening.
